Amarnath Registrations Guidelines for NRI /Ex-India / Foreign Nationals 

The Amarnath Yatra attracts not only Indian devotees but also Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) and foreign nationals who wish to embark on this sacred pilgrimage to the Amarnath Cave Shrine. The Amarnath registration guidelines for NRI / Ex-India pilgrims is slightly different and requires additional documentation. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help NRIs and foreign nationals register for Amarnath Yatra 2025.

To the Amarnath Registrations Guidelines for NRI for the Shri Amarnathji Yatra 2025, must email scanned copies of the required documents to the amarnathji shrine board official address. The process ensures their eligibility for the Yatra and provides the necessary authorization for their participation.

Document Attached:

a) Filled-all personal details in Application Forms.
b) Compulsory Health Certificate (formats of Application Formand Compulsory Health Certificate are available at theBoard’s website: www.jksasb.nic.in).
c) Valid Passport from competent authority
d) Scanned photograph

e) Registration fee per Yatri of ₹1550/- (to be deposited in the Punjab National Bank: Swift Code: PUNBINBBJTS / IFSC Code: PUNB0079400, Rehari Branch Jammu, Account Number: 0794000101212056)

  1. The Compulsory Health Certificate must be issued by an authorized medical professional recognized by the Shree Amarnathji Shrine board officials. of the country concerned on or after 8th April, 2025
  2. The Yatra permit can be collected by the intending pilgrim from the specified branch of Punjab National Bank in Jammu or Srinagar, as mentioned in their forwarded email. Additionally, the Yatra permit can be provided to the pilgrim via email upon request.
  3. Pilgrims will not be permitted to pass the access control gates at Domail (Baltal route) or Chandanwari (Pahalgam route) without possessing a valid RFID card.
  4. The RFID card can be obtained from designated centers located across various regions in the Jammu & Kashmir divisions. This will be issued after successful completion of biometric eKYC authentication or passport verification (e-KYC).
  5. The Senior Manager, IT Department, Punjab National Bank, Circle Office, Jammu, will notify the intending pilgrim via email about the status of their registration for the Yatra 2025. The email will also include details regarding the mode of collecting the Yatra permit.

Registration Dates for Amarnath Yatra 2025

  • Registration Start Date: Likely to begin in 1st or 2nd week of April 2025.
  • Yatra Duration: Expected from June end to early August 2025.
  • Keep an eye on the SASB website for official announcements and updates.

  1. Visa and Travel Insurance: Ensure you have a valid Indian visa and comprehensive travel insurance covering high-altitude trekking.
