The registration process for the Amarnath Yatra 2025 is set to begin around the 1st week or 2nd week of April 2025
1. Online and Offline Registration
Registration for Shri Amarnathji Yatra 2025 is available through both online and offline modes.
Online Registration:
The Pilgrims can register through the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board official website (SASB). or through mobile applicationsOffline Registration:
Amarnath registration can be done at shrine board designated bank branches, including Punjab National Bank, Jammu and Kashmir Bank, ICICI Bank and YES Bank across India. Where the eKYC authentication will be conducted in real-time basis.
2. Key Registration RequirementsÂ
To complete the registration process, the following documents are mandatory either through online or offline process:
- Application Form: For offline registration, the form is Available on the shrine board official website or at bank branches registration centre.
- Compulsory Health Certificate (CHC): Pilgrims must submit a CHC issued by amarnathji shrine board authorised doctors or medical institutions authorized by the SASB on
or after 8th April 2025. This ensures the fitness of individuals to undertake the high-altitude trek. The CHC format is available on the shrine board official website. - Photocopy of Government-Issued ID: The pilgrims should have government issued Identity card, such as Aadhar Card, Voter ID, or Passport.
- Recent Passport-Sized Photograph: Recent passport size photograph required To be affixed on the application form during offline and to upload during online registrations.
3. Things to Knows
Age Restrictions: Only individuals aged between 13 and 70 years are eligible for the Yatra. Pregnant women over 6 weeks are not allowed to register.
Registration Fees: A nominal fee of ₹150- ₹250 per applicant is charged at the time of registration through designated banks for Yatra 2025.
Yatra Permits:Â Each registered pilgrim is issued a Yatra Permit with a specific date and route (Baltal or Pahalgam). Pilgrims must strictly adhere to the assigned route and date mentioned on their permit.
RFID Tags:Â All pilgrims will be issued Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tags to ensure their safety and real-time tracking during the Yatra.
Important Dates
- Registration and medical (CHC) Opens: Expected in 1st or 2nd week of April 2025.
- Yatra Dates: Likely from June end to 09th August 2025, as per the Hindu calendar (Shravan month). The exact schedule will be announced by the SASB.
