To register for Shri Amarnathji Yatra 2026, NRI / Ex-India / Foreign National pilgrims must send scanned copies of the following documents to:

The Application Form and Compulsory Health Certificate (CHC) formats are available on the official website of the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board:

The CHC must be issued by the National Health Services of the respective country before or after 8th April 2026. This ensures that the pilgrim is medically fit to undertake the challenging high-altitude trek.


Please note the following eligibility conditions:

  • Pilgrims below 13 years or above 70 years of age will not be registered.
  • Pregnant women with more than six weeks of pregnancy are not permitted to undertake the Yatra, even with a valid CHC.

After successful verification, pilgrims can collect their Yatra Permit from the designated Punjab National Bank branch in Jammu or Srinagar as mentioned in their forwarding email.
Alternatively, the Yatra Permit can also be sent via email on request.


The registration of NRI / Ex-India pilgrims / Foreign Nationals is subject to the availability of registration slots for the preferred date and route (either Baltal or Pahalgam).


No pilgrim will be allowed to cross the Access Control Gate at Domail (Baltal Route) or Chandanwari (Pahalgam Route) without a valid RFID Card.


Pilgrims can collect their RFID Card from any of the authorized centers established across Jammu and Kashmir divisions after successful biometric eKYC authentication or passport verification.


The Senior Manager, IT Department, PNB Jammu, will inform the intending pilgrim via email regarding the confirmation of registration and provide details about how and where to collect the Yatra Permit.
