Group Registration Guidelines for Shri Amarnathji Yatra 2025
Planning a group pilgrimage to the Amarnath Cave Shrine? Group registration is a convenient option for families, friends, or religious groups traveling together. The Shri Amarnath Ji Shrine Board (SASB) has specific guidelines to ensure a smooth registration process for group Yatris. Here’s a Amarnath Yatra 2025 Group Registration guidelines step by step.
A group registration guidelines is available for pilgrims planning to undertake the Yatra in groups of five or more members. Members of the group can collectively apply for registration by sending their applications via registered post to the following address:
Chief Executive Officer, Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board,
2nd Floor, Block-III, Engineering Complex, Raj Bagh, Srinagar – 190008.
This process enables groups to secure registration for the Yatra 2025.
According to the Group Registration guidelines, the deadline for submitting the  Application Form by post is 31st May 2025. Group registration will be processed on a first-come, first-serve basis, depending on the availability of slots for the chosen date and route. A maximum of 30 registrations will be allowed per group, per day, per route.
- To apply for a Yatra Permit under the Group Registration Facility, the Group Leader (who must be one of the group members) needs to submit the following documents for each group member via registered post to the designated address:
- Duly Filled Application Forms: Ensure the forms are completed with accurate details, including the Aadhaar number of each group member.
- Original Compulsory Health Certificates (CHCs): Submit the original CHCs issued by authorized doctors or medical institutions. The formats for the Application Form and CHC, along with the list of authorized doctors/institutes, can be accessed on the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board official website: www.jksasb.nic.in.
- Passport-Sized Photograph: Provide one passport-sized photograph of each applicant, signed on the front side by the individual.
- Yatra Registration Fee: Pay the registration fee of ₹250 per Yatri.
- Contact Information of the Group Leader: Include the mailing address, mobile number, and email ID of the Group Leader for further correspondence.
- Make sure all documents are complete and submitted before the deadline to ensure successful registration.

- The amount payable to the Shrine Board (Yatra Registration Fee and Postal Charges) shall be sent as Bank Draft drawn in favour of Chief Accounts Officer, Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board.
- No person below the age of 13 years or above the age of 70 years and no female with more than six weeks’ pregnancy shall be registered for the Yatra.
- In case, requisite registration slots are not available on a given date for which Registration has been sought by the Group, the Group Leader shall be contacted over telephone and informed about the next available slot.
- For Yatra 2025, CHCs issued only after 8th April, 2024 would be valid for registration.
- The registered Yatri through group registration facility shall have to collect RFID card after biometric eKYC authentication at any one of the centers established at various locations in Jammu & Kashmir Divisions.
- No Yatri shall be allowed to cross access control gate at Domail /Chandanwari without a valid RFID card.
- Further, yatris shall be allowed to embark on her/ his Yatra only on the day and route for which she/ he has been registered.
Key Guidelines for Group Registration
- Same Batch Allocation: SASB tries to allocate the same Yatra batch for all group members, but this is subject to availability.
- Separate Permits: Each member will receive an individual Yatra Permit Slip, even under group registration.
- Health and Fitness: Ensure all members are medically fit and meet the required health criteria.
- No Substitution: Once registration is complete, you cannot substitute a group member.
- Travel Together: The group must travel together during the Yatra for better coordination and safety.
